My assignment as Design Director for the Tim Hortons account was to develop and maintain a fresh, consistent look for all food photography. Select focus was employed to draw a viewer’s eyes to a product’s most appealing attributes and heighten appetite appeal, allowing the edges and backgrounds fall away. Interestingly, many of the images produced still appear in restaurants today as full-size poster prints.
